Company History

Started in 1996 under the name of Olympic Rental Association as a registered tax-exempt service organization, we soon found the need for a state-wide landlord organization to most effectively deal with legislative and local issues. Dealing with the same state and human rights laws, our members encounter the same landlord problems and successes, no matter what part of the state. Exchanging their experiences and ideas has become a major resource for our entire 38,000 subscriber membership through the 25,000 annual mailings of WLA's Quarterly (newspaper). In other words, the full scope of WLA's services are best realized with the pooling of resources and communications throughout our local meetings regularly held at over 16 Washington towns and cities.
